Manufacturers, worldwide spend a significant production cost on these Single-use plastics . Once out of the factory, a considerable logistic cost occurs along with inventory costs to store newer batches of these plastic bottles. After all these efforts and expenditure, the bottles end up in landfills which in turn gives a negative impression on the brands for polluting the environment. 

Although refilling packets are available for some products, they too come in polythene packs that again ends up in land fill. All these processes are affecting the carbon footprint of the products of each brand. This forces the companies to purchase more carbon credits, to allow them to emit more CO₂. So a better and more feasible solution would be to reuse these plastic containers/bottles which already have the longevity.
